Guru featuring Erikah Badu

A mixture of jazz and hip-hop makes this song one of my favorites, as the combination of rhythms is very original and contagious. The words are a dialogue between the authors, Guru and Erykah Badu, where he tries to seduce Erykah and she puts up all sorts of flirty conditions to give in, giving the song a very playful and sensual quality. Besides I had the chance to see Guru in person when he came to Chile last year, and Erykah Badu is one of my favorite singers. So it makes it easier for me to sing her songs . She really produces an incredible effect on me with her songs, her rhythms and her particular tone of voice which suits very well with mine. So it is easier for me to sing her songs. In fact I would love to find a man who sings like Guru so me could sing her songs together in public. Singing is one of my great passions but unfortunately I have not been able to develop as I wish. This is clearly one of my unresolved matters in my life.
Finally, I feel very identified with the song ever since a friend offered me a Guru's CD with the song plenty, which I heard over and over again. In fact friends and members of my family said I seemed to be a reverberating disc, listening always to the same song. I strongly recommend those who want to put pep into their day, to have the song , and I can assure them they will never get bored to listen to it.
